How do I run the Traffic Analyzer Report for a device that we are seeing lost pings for?

Please run the Traffic Analyzer Report for the device by:

Go to the Statseeker Console GUI and select Traffic Analyzer in the General section
  1. On the page that pops up select the local interface in the Traffic Collector box
  2. Select nothing in the Favorites box and enter the Range for the period of interest, such as 3pm on the 8th, and select a Duration such as 1 hour
  3. Enter the IP Address of the device in the Address box like:

inc either 192.168.0.1

  1. Put the protocol for pings (ICMP) in the Protocol box:

inc icmp.*

  1. Put 5m in the Interval box
  2. Then click "Node Protocol Conversations"

The report will then run and show in a new window a count of the outgoing and incoming pings, there should be 20 in each direction for a 5m interval as per the example below:
